FTTH Update: The Network Distribution Center (NVT) is filling up – the first households are being connected It's always a welcome moment: when the network distribution center (NVT) is slowly but surely filling up with fiber optic cables and the first households in the municipality of Teisendorf are being connected. Splicing work is underway, surfaces are being restored step by step – further activations will follow in the coming weeks. Many thanks to our construction team, our partners, and the local residents for their support.
18.09.2025 – Isle of Wight (UK)
UK Update: Infralay Ltd. Supports WightFibre with New FTTH Network Construction Our colleagues in Great Britain are also hard at work: On the Isle of Wight, we are building a brand-new FTTH network for WightFibre. We are utilizing the existing HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coax) network as infrastructure – new ducts are being installed and street cabinets are being set up along existing lines. This reduces excavation work and costs, speeds up implementation, and is gentler on residents and the environment. Great teamwork – keep it up, Infralay UK!
